The Upper St'at'imc Language, Culture and Education is hosting an Enterprising Non-Profit Information Session on Friday, October 20 at the Lillooet Tribal Council Office from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m.


This session is ideal for any non-profit and/or charitable society seeking information on establishing a social enterprise (business) to assist with the expenses associated with meeting Society mandate and goals.


The session will include:
- Overview of social enterprise
- What is an ENP?
- What does a Society Board need to know?
- Identify different structures of an ENP.
- What impact does each structure have on Society status especially if the society is a charitable non-profit.
- Examples of organizations who have ENPs.

Cost: $25.00 includes dinner.
